Maricopa County Sheriff Candidate Speaking Event at ASU Today: (Independent) Candidate Mike Stauffer and (D) Paul Penzone

A very special rally will be held today at ASU today that involves a Student Vote rally the Arizona Student Association (ASA)is hosting.

Speakers will include independent candidate Mike Stauffer, Democratic candidate Paul Penzone — but Sheriff Joe Arpaio is a no-show.

We are told the students invited Sheriff Joe Arpaio to speak to the students, too, but his campaign office turned down speaking to the students.

Now that Students are registered, the next step is for them to go to the polls and vote! By voting you can let your voice be heard during elections and help elect the leaders that best fit your needs. If all students are voting, it makes it hard for decision makers to ignore us.

The Arizona Students’ Association has helped register more than 2,900 students to vote since the beginning of the school year on the Tempe Campus.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio sent out a mass mailer to every mailbox in Maricopa County (this past weekend) addressing independent candidate Mike Stauffer for wanting to shut down tent city and exposing (D) Paul Penzone on his domestic violence history.
